SPACELORDS ANTAGONISTS SERIES
All There in the Manual: The official site has a series of comics about different Raiders. The Humans are the invading force here, with the Locals either fighting back to allowing themselves to be subjugated. A God Am I: General Marmalade, the leader of the Umbra Wardogs, has this.

After the End: Life for the locals of the Broken Planet is this, having accidentally blown up said planet thousands of years before the Humans arrived.Ace Custom: Every raider has at least one weapon that they've built or modified for personal use.

In the past, the reckless and aggressive use of the Aleph by the local population caused the near destruction of the planet, and thus their subsequent abandonment of their violent ways in favor of a peaceful lifestyle made them easy prey for the human expeditions who reached the planet to seize the Aleph in the hopes of gathering enough power to control the Universe itself.Aside from their constant infighting, the only thing standing between the warmongering human expeditions and their goals is a small group of rebels, sabotaging, rescuing and salvaging whenever possible: the Raiders, a Ragtag Bunch of Misfits led by Harec, a local tribe leader forced to pick up a gun and fight to fend off the invasion. The planet is revealed to be the only source of Aleph,an incredibly powerful substance capable of generating almost unlimited energy, its uses including (but not limited to) spaceship fuel, physical augmentation (to the point of near immortality), planet-busting weapons and powering all sorts of bizarre powers.
SPACELORDS ANTAGONISTS CRACKED
In the far future, humanity has reached a far away planet, cracked and half destroyed. Obviously a couple of cards would need to be changed (I remember reading one talking about being by a teammate, and I don't think that triggers when an Antagonist around neutrals,) but I think that'd be a welcome change imo.Spacelords (formerly known as Raiders of the Broken Planet) is a Free-to-Play Third-Person Shooter, developed by MercurySteam and launched on September 22nd, 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PS4. You'd see the players who really like being an Antagonist spend their time on those decks, while the Raiders will focus on theirs. In all honesty, if they just separated it into two different decks based on affinity, and separate the weapons based on affinity (like you can only use "♥♥♥♥ Happens" as an Antagonist ), then I think it'd be neat. I do think the "which affinity do you have" for building weapons or drawing cards is dumb, simply because it's a pain in the ass to have to play 2 Raider games to get the Affinity to build/upgrade a weapon, or attempt to draw a specific card. But keep coordinated and mostly together, and the Antagonist can have a hard time winning. If the Raiders run on their own against a fist fighter, yeah they're totally gonna get their asses handed to them, because a good Antagonist will be around a group of enemies who the solo dude is going after, and he'll find himself with a boot in his face in no time. Meaning, if the Antagonist is level 60+, and most of the Raiders are less than 20 (for example), then reduce his player stats to a balanced level (although, sometimes it seems like this is already happening, but I'm not sure.)Īlso, being someone who loves playing as the Antagonist myself (yes, I lose a good chunk, but I also won against a group that was fully 40+ in level except for one level 6 or so ), you'd be surprised how hard it is when the players are smart and just keep grouped up if you're playing a fist fighter, or spread out when you're playing a shooting character, ect. I do feel there are balance issues due to the playerbase, but it can be fixed with a SoulsBorne style tweak. However, I've grown to love it over time. Being newer to the playerbase, I felt the Antagonist system was broken for quite a while.
